Who do I contact if I have questions?

You can always reach out to your Realtor with any questions you may have.  We at Equity are also here for you and have a team dedicated to your Realtor and your transaction.  Your team and their information are listed in the contact section of your app.  You can email them or call.  If you call directly from the app, the call will go straight to your team.  Talk to you soon!

How will I receive my proceeds money?

Prior to the closing, you will be able to choose whether to receive your funds via check or wire. If you choose to have a check, we will give your check to the Closing Professional to distributed at the closing table.

 To receive funds by wire, you must provide a voided check to the Closing Professional conducting the closing on Equity National Title’s behalf.  Otherwise, anything over $250 will be sent via FedEx and under $250 will be sent via USPS. Your bank account will credit those funds on the day of disbursement.  In some cases, banks have early wire cutoff times.  In those cases, the funds will be there following morning.  If there is a question, we can provide you with the FED ID number of the wire transaction. 

How will I know when/where the closing is?

That’s one of the best features of having the app.  You will receive a push notification as soon as we have confirmed the scheduling with all parties.  At that time, you will see which of Equity’s certified Closing Professionals will be on site to facilitate the closing.  We take pride in doing closings right, and have confidence in our network to handle your transaction and your clients with kid gloves.

Equity National Title can close anywhere you would like.  Very often, closings are done in your Realtor or Attorney’s office.  If that is not feasible, we are flexible and can close wherever is most convenient for all parties.  If you are located in an area where we have an office, we’d love to host your closing there!  We’ll bring the docs and see you there!

When will the final figures be ready?

As soon as physically possible!  We know how important it is to get you the final numbers and we work closely with the lender, attorneys and Realtors to ensure we have all the final figures ready at the earliest date.  As soon as we have the final figures, you will receive a notification on the app to check for the bottom line.  If you didn’t opt for notifications, you can still find the final figure in the Title Info section.

Also, in those cases where getting the final numbers is challenging, we can get you an estimate based on the most recent information available from the lender and all parties.  This can be helpful for planning purposes.

How will I know my mortgage has been paid off?

We will wire or overnight via FedEx the exact funds to pay off your mortgage, home equity line of credit and/or any other lien on your home, directly from Equity National Title, on the designated disbursement day.
